Duncan Baird

I enjoy playing with colour and recording what I see in the landscape both around the Wolds and around the world.

I work in pastels because the colours are so vivid and I rarely end up with the colours looking like mud. I have tried gouache, water colours and acrylics, but always come back to pastels.

Painting is a way to immerse yourself in something creative and it is great to meet other artist…they are such interesting people!
