Mary Wells – Artist, Tutor and Demonstrator
About me
I have loved drawing and painting from a very young age and graduated from Hull School of Art in the late 70s after studying graphic design, illustration, typography and photography. My first love is figure drawing and painting but I really like trying my hand at anything that catches my imagination, always seeking to capture the essence of the subject. I work in most media and been invited to many art clubs and societies to carry out demonstrations and workshops for their members.
My commissions in the past few years have ranged from seascapes to farmland and landscapes, formal portraits to studies of adults, children and pets.
