Featured is ‘Gilbert Hogweed’ – winner of the Driffield Art Club poster competition in April 2018. This painting was chosen by members of Driffield art Club to be used in their posters and other advertising matter for the Annual Exhibition in October at Dee, Atkinson Harrison’s premises on Exchange Street, Driffield. written by Mary Wells, Chair of Driffield Art Club.

Teresa writes: “I mostly paint animals and prefer to work from photos that I have taken myself.   We live on a smallholding and have three dogs, six cats, 14 sheep, rabbits, turkeys, chickens, geese and ducks and they are all my models! I use pen, ink, pencil, watercolour, gouache, acrylic and pastel and often use more than one medium on a painting to achieve the effect I require”.
