Monday meetings / demonstrations by visiting artists

Monday meetings with demonstrations by visiting artists take place at Westgarth Community Centre, Mill St. Driffield from 7:00pm till 9:00pm on the 3rd Monday of the month unless otherwise advised. 

NB There is no meeting in August.

2026 Meetings:

  • 21 September Watercolour landscape – Phil Biggs
  • 19 October Charcoal studies – Stuart Jarvis
  • 16 November Seascape with limited palette – Phil White
  • 14 December – Christmas Social and buffet with Quiz, AGM. Please bring some nibbles for the buffet table and your entry for the Bobbie Symmons Trophy competition on the theme of ‘Hot Summer Days.’

2027 Meetings:

  • 18 January – Line and wash landscapes – John Harrison
  • 15 February – Pastel animal portraits – Cath Inglis
  • 15 March – Nature into abstraction – Marti Hall
  • 19 April – Portrait in Oils – Kitty Bellamy
  • 17 May – Charcoal with ink and acrylics – Anthony Barrow
  • 21 June – Watercolour waterfalls – Pam Williams
  • 19 July – To be announced

Saturday Workshops

Saturday Workshops take place at Nafferton Village Hall unless otherwise stated, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Members £25 – Non-Members £35, unless otherwise stated on the booking form.

  • 5 September: ‘ Drop in and Paint’ at Driffield Community Centre. Noon till 3 – free entry; age group: over 16; all materials supplied.
  • 3 October – Watercolour landscape – Phil Biggs
  • 31 October – Charcoal studies – Stuart Jarvis
  • 7 November – Oil still life – Esther Cawley
  • 5 December – Seascape with a limited palette – Phil White
