This is a pastel which I entered into the Driffield Art Club annual competition for the Bobbie Simmons Trophy in December 2013. The theme of the competition was ‘Seasons’.
The members of the art club vote for their favourite piece of artwork and my painting won this year.
Gwen Clarke handed over the trophy which she has held for the past year after winning in the competition for 2012.
Robert Kelly, our Chairman at the time, presented the trophy at our 2013 AGM and Christmas Social.
